NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS)
The National Service Program Students doing community service. Focuses on encouraging comradeship, leadership qualities and selfless social service among the student communities. Every citizen has a natural responsibility to work for the wellbeing of others is society; doing so is not a choice. The NSS volunteers of JKKMMRFCOP have internalized this moral. In order to improve living conditions for all, primary goal of JKKMMRFCOP volunteers is understanding of the community and their place within it.
The NSS Cell of JKKMMRFCOP had worked particularly, for leadership development in student volunteers, both male and female. At present the NSS Cell, JKKMMRFCOP has good strength of student volunteers to working under 40 Programme Officers from all faculties and is headed by as the Programme Co-ordinator. Besides the above 10 Programme Officers are working NSS activities with Dr.P.Jeyaseelan as the RRC Co-ordinator..
The services rendered by National Service Scheme are: Health, Sanitation, and Education (formal and non-formal) Legal Aid, Veterinary, and Physical services. Regular activities and Special camping programmes are the highlights of National Service Scheme activities of the University. Several Camps have been held at district level, including the Officers, and Volunteers.
Under the illustrious leadership of our Honorable correspondent Mr.JKKM. Jayaprakash , and the proper guidance of the respected principal Dr.N.Senthil kumar, the National Service Scheme was able to achieve the Regular and Special Camping Programmes in an effective manner. The National Service Scheme of JKKMMRFCOP is mainly concentrating on Tree Plantation to make green environment and also creating awareness on Communicable and Non Communicable diseases. Many NSS volunteers of JKKMMRFCOP were involved themselves in flood relief operation of Nagapattinam District and Kerala. Further, the National Service Scheme cell of JKKMMRFCOP is providing training on Yoga, Leadership, Disaster Risk Reduction Management and Soft Skill Training.

Women’s Day is celebrated globally on 8th March every year in honour of their remarkable contribution to our society. The day also commemorates the inspiring role of women around the world to secure women’s rights and build more equitable societies.
Women Empowerment Cell is designed to empower women socially, economically, politically and legally with a focus on promoting decision making. It conducts various activities and arranges guest lectures to accelerate the academic enhancement, leadership development and cultural enrichment in the lives of young women.

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is inspired by the vision of transformational change in rural development processes by leveraging knowledge institutions to help build the architecture of an Inclusive India.
The Mission of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is to enable higher educational institutions to work with the people of rural India in identifying development challenges and evolving appropriate solutions for accelerating sustainable growth. It also aims to create a virtuous cycle between society and an inclusive academic system by providing knowledge and practices for emerging professions and to upgrade the capabilities of both the public and the private sectors in responding to the development needs of rural India.

Youth Red Cross
"The Youth Red Cross" is the most important constituent of its parent organization, Indian Red Cross. The Indian Red Cross Society is a voluntary humanitarian organization having a network of over 700 branches throughout India, providing relief in times of disasters/emergencies and promoting health & care of the vulnerable people and communities. It is a leading member of the largest independent humanitarian organization in the world, the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
Youth Red Cross (YRC) in Tamil Nadu has seen a tremendous and phenomenal growth in a short span of six year. The membership has increased from a meager 37,000 to 7 lakhs, the number of colleges to start YRC unit has grown from 140 to 852.
We are proud to say that JKKMMRFCOP is a part of this esteemed organization and our students are taught to live by the high objectives of this society and it aims to inspire, encourage and initiate at all times, all forms of humanitarian activities so that human suffering can be minimized, alleviated and even prevented, thus contribute to creating a more congenial climate for peace.
