Research Area

The department of Pharmacy Practice is well equipped for Research Work. The UG and PG students are doing their project works as Research. Research evidence should be used to identify new areas for improved health service delivery and rigorously evaluate new services. Common quantitative and qualitative methods such as randomized controlled trials, cohort studies, case control study and questionnaire-based surveys, and phenomenology using qualitative interviews have been used in pharmacy.  Pharmacy practice researchers need to know how these old and new methodological approaches should be selected, applied, and interpreted in addressing research problems.

We have divided the following research groups to improve the research activities,

Research Area

ü  Pharmacovigilance

ü  Pharmacoeconomics

ü  Pharmacoepidemiologic Studies

ü  Medication Adherence

ü  Hospital Pharmacy

ü  Community Pharmacy
